Our mission is to serve you the best locally-sourced Mexican and Latin American cuisine, innovative margaritas and cocktails, and to give back to our wonderful community. Centro was designed with freshness, love, art, and authenticity in mind. Our lunch is set up as “grab-and-go” — high quality Mexican food served quickly for your busy day. For dinner we become a full-service restaurant. Our dinner menu features both contemporary and traditional recipes using as many fresh organic and local ingredients as possible. Our bar specializes in making fresh juice margaritas, specialty cocktails, and some say the best mojito in town. We also offer a wine selection featuring Spanish and Latin American wines. And with over 50 tequilas, we offer one of Raleigh’s most extensive tequila bars. Authentic, fresh Mexican cuisine and cocktails in combination with a great atmosphere and lots of love, we’re sure it’ll be an experience like no other…sí señor!

History
Established in 2007.

With the help of countless friends and family, they opened the doors to Centro in the heart of Downtown Raleigh. Since that day, Centro has become a unique reflection of the people who have worked here, the customers, and the community surrounding us. Supporting our community is very important to us and we love seeing it grow. We pride ourselves on using as many fresh, organic and local ingredients as possible to provide you with healthy, flavorful food as well as to support our local farmers. Centro is a place that has grown from our hearts and is here today because of you, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Centro was born from the hearts of Angela Salamanca and her uncle, Carlos, who shared a love for art, and fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine. In 2007, with the help of countless friends and family, they opened the doors to Centro in the heart of Downtown Raleigh. Since that day, Centro has become a unique reflection of the people who have worked here, the customers, and the community surrounding us.
