Candlelight vigil for the rights of immigrants

The NC Collective organized a candlelight vigil for immigration rights. It was held in front of the offices of Senator Thom Tillis in downtown Raleigh. More than 20 community leaders from different regions of North Carolina attended the event.

Abortion rights are immigrant rights

As the SCOTUS decision looms, the Latino community says abortion rights are immigrant rights. Local Latinx community organization El Pueblo recently attended actions that included a caravan rally and a community party to celebrate North Carolina's progress in ending the cruel practice of shackling incarcerated pregnant people and to stand in solidarity as the Supreme Court of the United States
