Raleigh, The Consulate General of Mexico in Raleigh commemorated this September 15, 2022 at Flowers Field in Dix Park, the 212th Anniversary of the Independence of Mexico; The Consul General, Claudia Velasco, gave the Cry of Independence, followed by the honors to the Flag.
Civic Act Independence Day 2022. The Consulate General of Mexico in Raleigh informs that the celebration of the 212th Anniversary of the Independence of Mexico will take place on September 15, 2022 at Flowers Field in Dix Park, located at 2105 Umstead Dr., Raleigh, NC 27603 starting at 6:00 p.m.
Today, Governor Roy Cooper signed a State of Emergency in preparation for impacts from Potential Tropical Cyclone Sixteen. “It is important for North Carolinians to prepare for potential impacts from the coming storm,” said Governor Cooper. “The storm's path has been difficult to predict and we want to ensure that farmers, first responders and utility crews have the tools necessary to prepare for severe weather."
