N.C. Department of Revenue Launches Application Process for Business Recovery Grants
Grants are available to certain types of businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic
Raleigh, NC -- The North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) announced today that it will begin accepting applications for Business Recovery Grants on Thursday, December 16, 2021. The Business Recovery Grant Program (BRG) will issue a one-time payment to eligible North Carolina businesses that experienced significant economic loss due to COVID-19. The application period closes January 31, 2022. The NCDOR will administer the program.
The state of emergency declared nation-wide due to COVID-19 led to the creation of public health policies that aimed to protect citizens from the health contingency. The laws included continuous Medicaid coverage under which beneficiaries were guaranteed uninterrupted coverage, with no need for an annual redetermination on the basis of changes in their household or their income.
