When the universe whispers its philosophical treatise to me

Today I have understood that the world seems ugly to me. I am not like those philosophers or thinkers who sat and said "I am going to think about this issue", perhaps that is why I am not a philosopher and I will never become famous for my theories. They worked on their thoughts, the universe shows them to me, a beautiful muse whispers them to me and the beauty of an all-powerful Goddess illuminates me.

The importance of self-knowledge in children

The previous weeks we were reflecting on the importance of self-knowledge of ourselves as adults, as an essential tool in respectful parenting. Today I would like to invite you to reflect on the importance of this self-knowledge but now focused on children.

Code Orange Alerts Remain in Thursday’s Air Quality Forecast

North Carolina residents should continue to exercise caution while outside on Thursday due to smoke and fine particle pollution from Canadian wildfires. The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Air Quality (DAQ) and the Forsyth County Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection are issuing a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for the entire state for Thursday, June 8. The Code Red Air Quality Action Alert that was in effect for central NC on Wednesday has been replaced with a Code Orange alert for the remainder of the day.
