Description
The NC Latino Health Alliance (NCLHA) would like to inform you of our upcoming Community Health Resources Distribution: Farmworker Camp Event for Black Creek Camp in Wilson, NC. This event will take place on May 22nd (Sunday) from 3 pm to 5 pm. We will be joined by Carolina Family Health Centers, United Healthcare, CaptionCall, and Greene County Health Care.
At this event, AMEXCAN will be distributing culturally sensitive food and health bags filled with health educational materials and PPE items. Carolina Family Health Centers will be conducting screenings for HIV, glucose levels, and blood pressure. United Healthcare, CaptionCall, and Greene County Health Care will be giving out information about their organizations and providing goodies for the farmworkers. Special thanks to Pitt County Health Department for donating sunscreen bottles and chapstick!
