AMEXCAN is hosting its “NC Latino Leadership Summit: Building a Latino Agenda.”

The Association of Mexicans in North Carolina, Inc. (AMEXCAN) is hosting its “NC Latino Leadership Summit: Building a Latino Agenda.” This event will take place Friday, October 7th, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the NC Rural Economic Center at 4021 Carya Drive #160, Raleigh, NC 27610. We are no longer accepting sign-ups for this summit. For this summit, AMEXCAN will be facilitating an in-person conference to bring pro-Latino organizations together to discuss challenges and success stories regarding health, education, public policy, public safety, and economic development.

AMEXCAN calls on Governor Roy Cooper to veto SB 101. AMEXCAN urges the Governor to assume a firm attitude and supports the migrant community because every day Mexicans and Latinos drastically contribute to the economic, social, and cultural development of North Carolina. Not only will SB 101 critically harm the migrant community but also the economy and well-being of the state.

Voter Registration & Personal Protective Equipment Distribution Table Event at East Carolina University.

The NC Latino Advocacy and Civic Engagement Initiative (Mi Familia Vota) and NC Latino Health Alliance would like to cordially invite you to our Voter Registration & Personal Protective Equipment Distribution Table Event at East Carolina University. This event will take place on February 15th (Tuesday) from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Main Campus Student Center Lawn. Not only that, but this tabling event will be conducted once a month until the end of the Spring 2022 semester. We hope that you will join us.
