Latin American School is proud to highlight the extraordinary participation in its summer camp of the talented Colombian artist, Sadith Salek. Throughout the week, Sadith shared her passion, experience and knowledge with the students, leaving an indelible mark on their artistic training.

The camp, organized by the Latin American School, seeks to provide comprehensive and personalized learning that encompasses various aspects of Latin American culture, with an emphasis on mastery of the Spanish language, Latin American arts and culture, mathematics, and technological innovation.

From day one, Sadith captivated attendees with her unique style. Through his classes he transmitted his love for art and the importance of expressing oneself freely through it.

Her knowledge and ability to communicate with students of all ages made each session an enriching and rewarding experience.

The most impressive thing about Sadith’s participation was her commitment to the students. She not only limited herself to teaching them, but also encouraged them to explore their own creativity. He was a true example of mentorship and dedication.

NCDHHS Urges Vaccination for Children 6 Months and Older

RALEIGH — The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is reporting the first pediatric flu-related death for the 2023-2024 flu season. A child in the western part of the state recently died from complications associated with influenza infection. To protect the family’s privacy, additional information will not be released.
