A new school focused on teaching students about Latin American culture, providing personalized competency-based learning programs that prioritize Spanish as a second language, arts and Latin American culture, mathematics and technological innovation, initially as a Saturday program.
Latin American School (LATAM) is a non-profit 501c3 organization that offers K-12 bilingual education. The school’s mission is to provide a high-quality education that prepares students for success in college.
Edgar Bernal founded Latin American School (LATAM) after seeing the need for a bilingual school that would provide students with a solid academic foundation while also teaching them about Latin American culture. Edgar Bernal’s vision is to create a community where Latin Americans are represented and celebrated in all aspects of life. He believes that education is the key to achieving this vision.
The opening of LATAM is an important step forward for the North Carolina community. School provides a much-needed opportunity for children to receive a multicultural education.
The founders of the school are confident that LATAM will have a positive impact on the lives of its students and the community. They are excited to see what the future holds for LATAM and the community in North Carolina.
