Saturday June 25 from 6 pm to 12 am

The Gala is an opportunity to celebrate El Centro Hispano’s 30 years of service, recognize the dedication and commitment of outstanding individuals and organizations who have strengthened our communities, and raise funds for El Centro’s exceptional programming and resources that will have a lasting impact on our community.

We are incredibly proud of this year’s award winners and their contributions to our local communities.

Gilbertson-Clark Visionary Award: Durham Tech
President’s Award: Carlos Aragao
Volunteer of the Year Award: Marty Belin

Pilar Rocha-Goldberg, CEO and President of El Centro Hispano said, “Since 1992 El Centro Hispano has welcomed everyone who walks through its doors, from immigrants to world-renowned researchers, interns seeking a learning experience, people LGTBQ+ looking for a community, and more.” Rocha-Goldberg added, “Thanks to our volunteers and benefactors, El Centro Hispano has been making a difference in the community for 30 years. We are excited to celebrate this milestone at our Gala .”
